This Dragon was created in 1998 during the time in which my skills had grown to the point that I started to become serious
about bringing all of the Dragons in my mind into reality. During this period I sculpted a lot of Dragons, and with each my skills grew and grew.
This Great Fire Dragon is one of my favorites of that time period.
At this point in time, I was still sculpting every Dragon in one piece and firing it in an oven. Since then I have learned to work the Dragons in
sections and assemble the sections to make one whole Dragon. This allows me greater detail and freedom than these early pieces allowed.
